Under the government’s Job Retention Scheme you can “furlough” employees and claim 80% of each individual’s wage costs, up to a cap of £2,500 per month. Do you have to pay the remaining 20%?
Several staff are off work sick or following official advice over self-shielding and staying at home. Can you ask other employees to temporarily cover the responsibilities and duties of those

From 1 July 2020 eligible employees may be flexibly furloughed. Where this happens, you must pay them their usual rate of pay for all hours worked. How is this calculated?
