The aim of this Safety Briefing – Violence and Harassment is to ensure that all staff are fully aware of the potential risks associated with violence at work and what they should do to minimise the chances of an incident occurring.
The briefing identifies the hazards and risks including physical attack - kicking, scratching, biting, head-butting, self-harm, use of missiles against other people etc. and aggression - verbal abuse, slamming doors, breaking objects etc.
