Safety briefing - H&S policy
Whilst your health and safety policy isn’t the kind of document you would expect staff to be leafing through regularly, it’s important that they understand the basics, including their own responsibilities. Use our briefing to explain it to them.
Fulfil your duty to inform staff
Under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, employers with five or more employees must produce a health and safety policy and bring it to the attention of staff. It must include a statement of policy and explain how it will be implemented and by whom.
