Letter following review of employee initially not fit for work
Use our letter when you are dealing with an employee who has been on long-term sick leave and, so far, has been unable to return as they’ve been medically certified as “Not fit for work”.
When to use this letter
You need to hold a review meeting where an employee is on long-term sick leave. Use this letter to confirm the outcome of that meeting. If the result is that you can now make changes to their working conditions, amend this part of the letter. If it’s that the employee can now return to work (also possibly with changes to their working conditions), adapt this part of the letter. This will confirm the agreed way forward.
