Kitchen pest control checklist

If you have a staff canteen or a food business, you need to be sure that you have robust risk controls in place to prevent pest infestations. Using our kitchen pest control checklist will help.

What’s covered?

This form contains 21 questions, which are divided into two sections: “General condition of premises” and “Management”. The first section focuses on the condition of walls, floors, ceilings and surfaces. It also checks that there are fly screens at windows and doors and equipment is mobile where necessary for cleaning purposes. The second section looks at the cleaning rota, staff training, food storage and formal pest control contracts.

Corrective action should be completed at the end of the form and signed off by management.
