If you’re considering formalising the way you manage environmental issues by implementing one of the many formal management systems, which one should you go for? It’s a choice that should not be made lightly, as picking the wrong one could cost you dearly.
Which system?
We’ve created a Guidance Note - Types of Environmental Management System, that provides further information on formally accredited systems. The guidance also includes further information on the different types of management system, such as ISO and EMAS, and the standards against which they’re monitored. This information can then be used to assist in determining what type is best for your organisation or if, indeed, you need one at all.
