Can you still fire and rehire on lesser terms?
Where an employer wants to downgrade employees’ terms and conditions, it can use the practice of “fire and rehire” as a last resort. However, one union has just stopped Tesco from using this tactic. Does that mean fire and rehire is now redundant?
