Why use this letter?

Our Contractor Advisory Letter has been designed to issue to any contractors who have breached your site’s safety rules. You have a duty of care to ensure the safety of your contractors along with your own staff and this is a formal document to demonstrate that you are meeting that duty.

How to use it

The letter identifies the nature of the breach and informs the contractor of the action which will be taken to ensure there’s no repetition. Adjust the examples to suit the circumstances of the particular incident.

Note. This is not an investigation. It is purely notification that an incident has occurred and that further steps will be taken. Those steps may be taken by you or in liaison with the contracting company.
